My training as a photojournalist keeps me always looking for a great image.
I shot this wedding & reception at the train depot in Boise, Idaho.
The couple went out for their first dance and they walked into the only beam of light coming in from the windows high above. When I saw where they had begun to dance I got pretty excited and you can see why here.
This was an outdoor wedding where the weather may or may not be your friend.
They had a beautiful day this day.
Kissing, kissing and more kissing. I never get tired of it either.
This was a great kiss moment and I especially like the big smile from the girl behind them.
Sometimes a great shot is not kissing.
I love capturing the look on their faces as they realize the moment they are in.
Detail images also help tell the story of your wedding day. Here's a nice shot of the "champagne" set out for the toasts.
This image was a big surprise for all of us... Not least of all the groom who caught his brides veil. The wind in this canyon is pretty strong and it just whipped that right off of her hair and onto his face.
Here's one that I personally really love. The "Bumps Ahead" sign is a signal for what's in store as they begin their life adventure together. They walked into this and had no idea what I saw when I shot this.
