Roni, our tour guide at Agua Blanca, explains some of the artifacts on display in the museum to Deb.
This is an excavation site showing burial jars.
We visited Ecuador during the dry season so the river at Agua Blanca was almost dry and Roni shows how deep the water gets during their wet season.
Even though Roni spoke less English than our Spanish he was very persistent and animated in describing the ancient community that lived and lives there. I know we would have gotten a lot more out of our entire trip if we spoke Spanish so now we have a new goal to learn Spanish.
Ecuador has squirrels too. This critter is about twice the size of the ones I'm use to seeing in the US.
